In the near future, the average human lifespan is expected to reach 100 years. In the paradise of a much longer retirement, the elderly may be on 'holiday-everyday' for another 50 years. However, with 5-6 generations in a family there will be more seniors for the younger generations to take care of - time with juniors might become something one has to fight for. The teapot helps the elderly's cause by extending the teatime with the visitor. The cup is constantly filled up until the teapot is completely empty.
